Full description of vacancy:
The Supply Chain and Planning function of MEP is a busy, fast-moving environment. Without these functions, the process of Engineering and Manufacturing is impossible. By learning to use of our ERP system, Epicor, and our SharePoint intranet the successful candidate will work in a small agile team and be able to process and track materials and components from our suppliers, through our manufacturing processes and out to customers – on time and in budget!
Training to be provided:
In addition to a formal apprenticeship framework around business administration, extensive on-job training is available in purchasing, making transactions in our ERP system, planning and capacity management, sales order and orderbook management. Following a successful apprenticeship MEP will offer suitable internal training and professional training, where applicable, for one of the many roles that will be experienced during the apprenticeship.
Future prospects:
Following a successful apprenticeship training will be available for roles such as Production Buyer, Sales Co-ordinator, Planner, Material Controller, and others. Additionally, previous Apprentices have successfully gained positions in Finance, IT and Sales/Estimating.
