About the role:

We are looking for someone with great communication and organisational skills with a hunger to learn and develop. You’ll be excited and keen to start your career as a valued member of the Jee team, working towards completing your Level 3 Business Apprenticeship. With a friendly and enthusiastic manner, you’ll enjoy assisting the team and business with a proactive and customer-focused approach. You’ll have a keen interest in task ownership and overall training delivery and execution. You’ll develop the skills you need to answer queries confidently and solve problems. You’ll also be comfortable asking questions and working with your colleagues in the team to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities:

Through support from your manager and the wider team, over the course of your apprenticeship you will:

  • Advance your administrative and organisational skills, supporting the execution and logistics for all of their external training, both face-to-face and virtual.
  • Plan and schedule all training programmes, working closely with your colleagues within Jee, course tutors and client teams.
  • Contribute to the planning, delivery or evaluation of sales and marketing activities.
  • Support the development of the company CRM database and CRM system.
  • Ensure that company procedures are followed, and records updated as per company policy.
  • Build confidence in your professional communication skills by liaising with clients and acting as the first point of contact for general queries, as well as following up on tutors and delegates on pre-work/post-work for their courses.
  • Monitor and analyse course attendance and feedback.
  • Work collaboratively within their team and the business – they are well known for being a friendly, helpful, and diverse group of people.
  • Work autonomously – Jee value your opinion and want to hear your suggestions on how to move things forward.

Training to be provided:

  • Training will be provided on how to use Microsoft word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Teams and Outlook.
  • Level 3 Business administration apprenticeship.

Future prospects:

The Business Administration Level 3 apprenticeship attached to this position should be completed in around 12-18 months, with the intention of a permanent full-time role for the right candidate once this has been completed.

Required personal qualities:

An individual who is willing to work as part of a team but also happy work independently on tasks.

Required qualification:

GCSE Grade 4 or above (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths would be preferred.  However, if a candidate does not meet these requirements, we will support the apprentice with Functional skills.

Things to consider:

  • Due to Hybrid working, the office can be quiet at times.  However, the successful candidate will be joining a growing team.
  • The office is close to Tonbridge rail station and is also on a regular bus route.  Jee is situated next the park and minutes away from Tonbridge swimming pool.  Car parking space available (worth £900 per year)
  • Company benefits: Car Parking space, annual holiday allowance – 25 days plus 8 Bank Holidays.

Salary: £6.81 an hour. £12,394 annually.
